Lithuanian artist and composer Lina Lapelytė, most known as the co-author of the Venice Biennale 2019 Golden Lion winning opera-performance “Sun and Sea”, is looking for singers to participate in her newest work “Copper Lick”, set to premiere on March 19th, 2024 in Munich.
We are seeking eight culturally diverse candidates from various age groups that are Munich-based. Strong musical sensitivity, choir singing experience, and excellent intonation are highly valued. We also want to note that professional training is not a requirement.The duration of the project will span from March 19th to June 19th, 2024. The performance will take place once a week in an outdoor space – a green area close to the Kabelsteg Bridge – with an approximate duration of 10 minutes. Payment will be provided to the performers for their involvement in the project.

Applications will be accepted until the end of February 17th, and we will notify you of our decision by February 19th.
Selected candidates will receive invitations for an audition, with sessions scheduled in Munich on the 23rd and 24th of February. Invitations will specify the assigned date and time for each participant.
